Interpretation
In order to ensure smooth communications across different languages during a meeting or a conference, Presence proposes professional translation experts who interpret from any given source language into any given target language.
A conference interpreter will provide any of the following services:
Simultaneous interpreting
The interpreters work in teams of two in soundproof booths equipped with the highest quality sound equipment and translate in real-time.
Consecutive interpreting
A team of interpreters will ensure translation, generally during a meeting, of the ongoing verbal exchanges. A message will first be produced in a source language and then the speaker will wait for the interpreter(s) to translate the message into the target language of the client’s choice.
Whispered interpreting
This type of interpreting, also called « chuchotage or liaison interpreting » requires for interpreters to sit around the table, behind one or two clients, during a meeting, and to whisper a simultaneous translation into the client’s ear.
"Interpret-as-you-walk"
Used when interpreters use portable interpreting equipment to accompany clients on factory visits for example.
